Kurt Rambis holds school records in scoring and rebounding. Rambis was the two-time San Jose Mercury News Player of the Year. In his three varsity seasons the Pioneers amassed a 75-12 record en route to two CCS Championships in 1975 and 1976. Both victories were over St. Ignaitus at Maples Pavillion. In the first ever State Tournament in 1976, the Pioneers (#1 seed) dropped a close game to Foothill High School of Bakersfield. Rambis went on to NBA glory playing for four the Lakers World Championship teams.

Rambis scored 1858 points for a career average of 21.35 per game. In Rambis' senior season, he averaged 26.41 points per game.
