McWhorter went on to play for De Anza College and later for USF. McWhorter played professionally in Switzerland as well.

| Scott McWhorter was the '80's greatest player. An exciting all-around player, Scott played 3 varsity seasons for the Pioneers. He is second All-Time in career scoring averaging just over 13 points per game. McWhorter played on 2 League Championship teams and was a First-Team All-Mercury News Selection. McWhorter went on to play for De Anza College and later for USF. McWhorter played professionally in Switzerland as well. |
